Hi Everyone,
I'm doing well and have been really enjoying watching parts of the Olympics. My only complaint is that I continue to be very tired from the chemo. The tired part seems to be getting worse. I assume that the more chemotherapy chemicals that you have inside of you (over time), the more tired you get. I think that I'll start updating my blog weekly (around the beginning of the week) because of being tired. Other than being tired, I feel great. Oh well--I can live with tired. But it does frustrate me sometimes because I'm used to be very active. I have to say that Robin has been really great about helping with household things that I usually do. She's become well acquainted with our lawn mower and string-weeder. Throughout this whole thing, I've learned what a great partner I have.
My brother Steve was kind enough to send me a message that I'll share with you:
We learned about it from a 12 year old that is at our Synagogue. Her Mom and Grandfather had cancer and she wanted to join the fight. Even if anyone can spare a dollar, every bit helps.
If you want to sponsor her the link is http://my.walkintheparks.org/personalPage.aspx?registrationID=485510&LangPref=en-CA.
I think that fighting children's cancer is a very worthy cause cause, so we sponsored her for what we could. I think that it's truly amazing what kids can do. I used to have my students recycle cans and bottles from home and then we would donate their proceeds to various charities. Given the chance, children can accomplish fantastic things.
Best wishes to everyone and I'll post again in about a week.

As always you continue to amaze me, both you and Steve set the high bar on your concern for others.
I know that you get tired and have less energy but you are still keeping very active.
I am insptred by your attitude and know that we will let cancer take over our lives as a family.
With much love as you are in my thoughts tonight.
Love, Dad
Tim, It is great to see you on your blog again. We all know how tired all this chemo has been for you. You must have had some extra energy to do the blog since your Uncle Frank gave you those "YUMMY" Boar Burritos"s Just not my cup of tea. I know he will be happy to make you as many as you want. I would like to take a moment to second, the fact that your wife Robin is amazing, she is a fantastic wife, mother, daughter, friend, niece, and great life partner !! You could have not made a better choice when you asked Robin to be your wife, and she could not have made a better decision when she said "I do". As far as your brother Steven, in all of his life we have not been closer he has really been there to support, love, and care for you and your family, and your parents. He has stepped up to the plate during what is without a doubt the most difficult time in your lives. We are proud of him as well as Robin, hooray for both of them. Steve has supported you all and has also been able to be a tremendous support system for your Dad. ( none of us can feel what your parents are going through during , your life's journey of battling cancer.) Your dad too is an amazing man, none of us can or quite honestly know what it is like , nor quite frankly would we want to have to go through what he is going through as a parent to walk in his shoes, or feel what is in his heart, everyday, every night as he tries to lay his head down to try to sleep at night. Your brother Steven is a true "Mensch" . May God Bless, love heal and be with you all everyday forever and eternity. LOve Aunt Sue and Uncle Frank
Thanks for the update! I wouldn't have the discipline to keep updating people on my life, so my hat is off to you. Of course we understand that you have plenty on your plate and will patiently wait for the next posting.
Now as for the lawn mowing, I think us women do a fine job at it. In fact, some of the nicest manicured lawns on our block are maintained by women. So, great job, Robin! You go, girl! ;-)
