Chemo Begins Today

I start chemo today at 9:00. I'm a little anxious, but was more stressed out about the PICC line getting put in. I did what any first time chemo patient would do--I had a good, healthy breakfast (pizza, applesauce, and green tea). I'll be bringing with some essentials like my laptop, my PSP (hand held video game), iPhone, the prayer book that Susan brought back from the 350 year old temple in Curacao, a book, some snacks, etc. It sounds like I'll be very tired when I get home, but I plan to just go with it and see how it goes.

I am also anxious but I did not have the great breakfast that you had.
Please call or email me when done or have your mom call me.

Love from Dad

Tim, We know that you are very anxious starting this treatment. We know it is scary , but will go well. Your Uncle Frank and I are very pleased that you brought the little prayer book from Mikve Isreal-Emanel Synagague with you to your first chemo treatment. We hope it brings you healthy blessings and maybe a bit of a sense of peace during your first treatment. However...., we are also very well aware that it is equally as important as your new "PSP". LOL. We know we all have our priorties. LOL !!!! Pizza for breakfast boy we can tell that is a real Rosenbloom trait having the good stuff for breakfast. We will be anxiously waiting to hear how this treatment goes. You never have been one to do things the ordinary way. We all love you. That was very techy of you to put the link to the Mikve Isreal_Emanel Synagogue, in with today's blog. Now Uncle Frank can learn from your link what we did not learn from being there. It makes it alot more acessable, espically for your Uncle. LOve, Aunt Sue and Uncle Frank.
